Meet the WA STARS (State Training and Registry System) requirements, which include:
- Current certificates in First Aid/CPR, HIV/AIDS and Blood Borne Pathogens
- Current Food Handler’s Permit
- Negative TB Test
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
- MMR vaccination or proof of measles immunity
-Must have a cleared formal criminal background check as defined by RCW.43.43.830 before the start of employment
- STARS number and 30 hours Child Care Basic Training
- Able to physically handle the demands of working with children including but not limited to lifting 50 lbs., standing, kneeling and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time

- At least one year of working experience in a child care setting
- Have a working knowledge of child development
